Atlanta’s Supplemental Training Program for Youth Dancers
Led by Cammi Nevarez
A Southern California native, Cammi Nevarez brings together commercial polish and grounded, athletic modern technique. She holds a B.A. in Dance from Point Park University, and her professional experience includes international tours with Rock The Ballet X, choreography for Concussion starring Will Smith, and collaborations with Parsons Dance, Nickelodeon, and Sony Pictures. Her choreography has also appeared in independent films and on competition stages across the country.
Now based in Atlanta, Cammi is creating the training opportunity she believes local dancers need: a place where motivated students can receive consistent, high-quality technical training, individual guidance, and professional mentorship while continuing to participate in their current studio programs and pursue outside opportunities.
Training for What Comes Next
Designed for dancers ages 11–18, this supplemental program is especially suited for competition dancers and students interested in pursuing commercial, stage, and on-camera opportunities.
Many young dancers gain valuable performance experience through rehearsals and competitions but still need dedicated time to strengthen their technique, expand their movement quality, and learn how to work with greater maturity and independence. This program provides that additional training without asking dancers to leave their home studios.
Through ballet, contemporary, and jazz-based training, students will develop:
Stronger placement, alignment, coordination, and body awareness
Greater versatility, musicality, fluidity, and movement quality
The ability to pick up choreography and adapt to different styles
Confidence applying corrections and taking ownership of their training
Professional classroom habits and a deeper understanding of how to work as a dancer
Students will also have opportunities to apply their training through choreography, live performance, and on-camera dance projects.
